Indication	For active immunization against measles and rubella in infants from 9 months of age & in children, adolescents and adults at risk. Second dose of MR is usually advocated before age of 6 years (elementary school entry 4-6 years). The second dose of MR vaccine can be given at any time 4 weeks after the first dose. Immunization of susceptible nonpregnant adolescent and adult females is indicated if certain precautions are observed. The vaccine can be safely and effectively given simultaneously with DTP, DT, TT, Td, BCG, Polio vaccine (OPV and IPV), Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatitis B, Yellow fever vaccine and vitamin A supplementation.
